Hi all I want to be honest. I am willing to learn but am stuck on a school project. I and my partner are asked to design a remote Internet access for two buildings that a company owns (NOTE: company doesn't exist) but anyway we are asked to design a network that is cheap and sufficient for the two 2 story tall buildings which are 500 feet away with each other and both floors have exactly same layout. Office buildings have closet rooms, stairwells, etc.   

I am not asking you to do my homework but does anyone have any suggestions about where to start?
