redirect OWA http to https??

Where is the proper place in IIS Manager to configure this??

I looked at an Exchange 2010 server and it's done at the Default Web Site level with a Found (302) status code.

Does Exchange 2013 work the same way??

We need http://mail.domain.org to automatically redirect to httpS://mail.domain.org.

This worked correctly/properly before CU 8 was installed, now it no longer works.

Thank you, Tom

This describes how it's done in OWA 2013

If you've done all this, and it doesn't work, I think it would help if you could show us the IIS log entries generated when you try to access OWA using plain http.

You can take a look at Lee's response, that artilce is pretty simple.

You still do it at the "Default web site" level in IIS, theres an HTTP Redirect option in the list where you set it up. You will have to do an IISRESET when finished FYI.

That's what I was looking for -- it verifies to me the procedure is basically the same for E13 as for E10.

It was also good to see the reminder to turn off SSL for the default website.

Thank you, Tom

All works properly now.

Hopefully CU 8 did not break anything else that I do not know about...

Thank you, Tom
