redirect/resend undeliverable mail message
Im using sql server reporting services to send reports by email using exchangeIs there any way to detect undeliverable emails, in order to redirect/resend them to other mail box?For instance, is it possible to configure the sender account so that, if it receives undeliverable mail messages to resend it to another account?Thank you

One alternative is that Right click on Senders Account in AD Go to Properties and then Click on Exchange General Tab Click on Delivery Options and then Click on Forward to and then browse the account to which you want forward the NDR messages. The above is true only if you have valid sender account in AD and not Dummy Sender id. Second one would be you need to login to Postmaster Mailbox and then create Rule and forward those NDR's to other Mailbox

If your using Outlook on that account then you can just have it create a rule, go to Tools, Rules & Alerts.Create a blank rule, choose from people or distro list, put where the name of the mb where the NDR is coming from or you can do it based off words in the subject.NextThen choose for it to people or dl, this allows you to choose where you want those messages forward to.I made a test one and this looks like its server side rule so you dont have to have outlook open for this to work, but if it is client side the rule will process as soon as you open outlook and or if its left open. Why dont you just manage your postmaster mb? and connect it as a 2nd mailbox?

You're probably not going to get a solution to your specific situation, your best bet is to find a happy medium between automation and some manual intervention. If it was me I'd make a Shared mailbox add any user that will need access to those NDRs messages can map the mailbox and view it as needed, since you should have a postmaster mailbox configure most of the time NDRs go there, that would be the easiest MB to give limited read access for those who need it.
