recovered lost data BUT file extensions have changed

Hi

I RECOVERED lost data from my outlook 2010 professional plus;

but

1) outlook.pst file becomes 0 byte

2) There is data in other folders which were already in use

3) problem is, when I create new outlook.pst file, it does not read such folders.

4) There are very important messages in those folders which I need badly.

those folders are showing like .....
General (folder name) = 3.87MB, file type = deal4real
General.msf = 2KB, file type = .msf (mail summary format)

I try to copy the folder in Outlook, NO SOLUTION

I copied & changed the file format by adding extentions .pst & .eml  BUT no solution

Can anybody offer solution?

Start with providing some basic information

#1 - Re: "Recovered lost data........................."

How exactly?

#2 - Re: "There is data in other folders which were already in use"

a) Which other folders - Outlook or from File Explorer?
b) "already in use" where exactly? How are you determining that?

#3 - Creating a new PST file will <never> read other data or create any folders.

#4 - Same as item #2 regarding the folders being referred to
