recipient policy
We have two companies email address that must stay live for at least a year but they are merging to one new email address. Users will use the new email address but need access to the old email address also. How do I set this up in recipient policy?

Hi, Just edit the policy in EMC (Org Config->HubTransport->Email Address Policies) to include the new email domain addresses too. Here you can set which one to keep as primary domain or address. When u edit it using default settings it will also apply on all recipeints immediately. Regards, Laeeq Qazi|Team Lead(Exchange + Sharepoint + BES + DynamicsCRM) www.HostingController.com

What version of Exchange are you using? Sounds like Ex2003 (recipient policy)? Anyway, Create/modify the receipt/email policy to include new email address. Apply this policy to only to the users (or OU) from the 2nd company. Did you configure your exchange to receive mail for multiple Domains? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/268838 Santhosh Sivarajan | MCTS, MCSE (W2K3/W2K/NT4), MCSA (W2K3/W2K/MSG), CCNA, Network+ Houston, TX http://blogs.sivarajan.com/ http://publications.sivarajan.com/ This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
