push not working for only one user on e2k7(Direct Push)
one of our users is struggling with Direct Push and it is simply not working, but only for him - for the rest of the users push works fine on both windows mobile and apple devices. I have no idea for how long this has not worked, but what I can see unusual for his mailbox is that and he has over 16k folders, 1/2mil items etc. Only inbox + 5 folders(last three days or less) need to be in sync and with push enabled, but I was wondering what the limits are for items per mailbox as well as what troubleshooting can I do on exchange to ascertain why push is not working for this user? Just to clarify on his mobile devices he can access the mailbox and manual or scheduled syncronization is working, but no Direct Push - he can wait forever and item will not arrive unless manually refreshed etc.

i guess their mobile network provider does not support the direct pust delayed response. please look at this http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997252.aspx but this less likely the case see what you get as test result here https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ and test with user credentials and see the error you get.Dhruv

thanks for this - connectivity test was successfull, but reading the other article I tested with SIM ejected using wireless only - direct push worked fine. I will do few more tests, but need to find another microSIM first
