So your question is to stop a user from deleting messages from the recover deleted items? The user deletes a message and then deletes it from the recover deleted items. Is the user complaining that he looses his messages? He deleted the messages twice! Why do you want to remove the option to delete messages from recover deleted items Is this a compliance issue? Sounds like a user is abusing e-mail, and hiding the fact by purging. I would turn on the setting that is something like "Don't delete e-mailuntil backed up". Then, at least it is on tape. Darn users, life would be so much easier without them. Since you wouldn't have a job.. and would just sit around wishing you had something to do...

I am sorry. I still haven't found the same answer the first person that started this discussion is looking for. I have a user that we think is breaking the rules of the company so they are deleting items and then goes to the Recover Email and purge the email. I want them as well to not have the rights to do that, and I want to see if you can recover it.
