public folders names
When I click on my public folders in outlook the name in the titlebar is not displayed in English. I did have an issue when installing in that the computer name was changed post-install and exchange was re-installed (though a virtual machine was used). This has resulted in two servers being shown under Server Configuration Mailboxes. Do I need to do something in Active Directory? My AD is on a Server 2003 box. Thanks for any help anyone can be.

It seems that you have 2 servers installed but you only use one?The Exchange server that you dont use should be uninstalled to remove it from AD. This will also verify and remove all objects linked to the faulty server.if you dont have the fault server left, I recomend a disaster recovery installation tio get things working and then a proper uninstall afterwards.lasse at humandata dot se, http://anewmessagehasarrived.blogspot.com

HI, Agree with Lasse. You should remove faulty server from Active Directory, to do that you can use ADSI editior.But my suggestion is if your active directory server still persists use /DIsasterrecovery switch to recover the server. After that do the proper exchange removal process.Recovering a Failed Exchange 2003 Member Server Using the Disaster Recovery Switch How to Completely Remove Exchange 2007 from a Server regards Chinthaka

Hi,For folder language,please try to use Outlook /resetfoldername and then check the issue again.For two server name listing is EMC issue, please try to check if any storage group or virtual directory has been created under theserver which you firstly installed.Regards,Xiu
