profile with two email accounts, archiving??

We have people with Outlook 2010 installed locally to talk to the local Exchange 2010 server.

They auto-archive their email to a PST file kept on the computer.

Recently some of these people added another email account to their profile (talking to a remote Exchange 2013 server), cached exchange mode is not turned on.

Does the 2nd account become auto-archived too?? Or not??

Do we have to establish auto-archive settings on the folders in this 2nd account like in the first account??

For now the 2nd account (remote) is set as the default, should the 1st account (local) be restored to be the default account??

Thank you, Tom

Only the default account will autoarchive - so if you wan the first one to autoarchive, it'll need to be set as default.

If you need to autoarchive the second account, create a second profile with it as the default profile and open it regularly.

OIC -- thank you for answering.

Can I somehow 'manually' archive the 2nd account??

Thank you, Tom

Sure, just drag from the mailbox to a pst or use rules to move the messages as mail arrives.
