problem with user email tabs in AD after installing Exchange 2003
I have just installed Exchange 2003, but the e-mail tabs in the user's properties in AD were not added except for the Domain Administrator account... I have created 2 new users after installation and for the new user the property tab is showing the email options... I would not want to recreate every single user.... is there any solution for this? ______________ Thanks -JV blog: www.pctechtips.org

This could be 2 things. 1.) These users that already existed in AD, don't have an Exchange mailboxes. To do that you can right click the user account, go to Exchange Tasks and click, create mailbox. This will give them a mailbox and all the actual tabs you are looking for. 2.) You are using Active Directory Users and Computers on a DC and not using the Active Directory Users and Computers on an Exchange server. In order to access those tabs you need to be on an an Exchange Server.Mark Morowczynski|MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP: Enterprise Support|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com

well, I used option 1) and fixed the issue, and as far as option 2) my Exchange server is on my DC, the only server! _____________ Thanks -JV blog: www.pctechtips.org
