Hi,
delete ClientAccessRole Key under HKLM\software\microsoft\exchange\v8.0
Go to ADSIEDIT => Exchange Servername object and change the value of msexchcurrentserver to 34

I think you may have an issue with not having the pre-requisites installed properly.
I have posted a video on www.insidetheregistry.com on how to install Exchange Pre-Reqs for EX2010 with a custom script.
I have seen weird issues like this before and after re-running the script on the server problems went away.
Not sure if this is your issue but it is worth a shot.

Hi Alexander,
Please check whether you have already installed all prerequisites:
Exchange 2010 Prerequisites
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb691354.aspx
After that, please go to Server Manager->Roles->Web Server(IIS)->Roles Services
Check whether ISAPI Extensions is installed or not.
If it is installed, please go to IIS Manager-> Server name->ISAPI and CGI Restrictions:
Delete the "Microsoft Exchange Client Access server" entry.
Then go to Registry Editor: HKLM\software\microsoft\ExchangeServer\V14\ClientAccessRole to delete the watermark and action key, try to install again.
By the way, the Exchange 2010 forum is the right place to seek the solution:
