problem connecting to remote DB2 data source from Excel 2013

Hello all, I have been able to connect to DB2 data sources in the past, but when I try in Excel 2013. I keep getting the following error message   "Provider is no longer available. Ensure that the provider is installed properly".

To try and establish a connection to DB2 I am doing the following:  Data -> From Other Sources -> From Data Connection Wizard -> Other/Advanced  -> IBM OLE DB Provider DB2 - DB2COPY1.

Then when I click the next button I receive the above mentioned error. I have no troubles testing the connection via DB2 connection wizard clicking connection type OLE DB , CLI, ODBC, JDBC.  I can also connect and select from tables in the database using DB2 connect.  I can see the connection set-up as a UserDSN and SystemDSN  via  Windows ODBC Data Source Administrator, but I just can't access this data source via Excel.  I would appreciate if anyone has any tips on  how to connect to a remote DB2 DB from Excel 2013.  I've done quite a bit of reading and tried a number of options,  but keep coming up with the same error message every time.       Thanks in advance!
