prevent some users to send emails but i want to let them to recieve emails ????
dear all,i am working with a big orgnization, we haveunimportant employees who should recieve emails but we have to prevent them to send emails ,,, how can i do this using exchange 2007 ??thanks

You may create a Hub Transport Rule & set Condition, Action,Exception such that the email either get Dropped or getRedirected to another user inside your org.

You can create a rule in "Transport Rule" stating as below;Open EMC-> Organization Configuration-> Hub Transport-> Transport Rule-> New Transport Rule-> Give Name/comments for the Rule* Select the Condition-> from People (whom you want to restrict sending emails outside/inside the domain)-> Add the name* Select"sent to users inside or outside the organisation" option* In the Actions window, choose any of the option"send bounce message/ Silently drop the message/ redirect it to other address(to track the mail flow, whom they are sending)"RegardsFunnyghost

great answer ,,i found onther solution double click at user mailbox ... mail flow settengs tab .... message size restrections .... set maximum send email size to zero.but i don't want to save the email at sent items .... any ideas ???
