prevent outlook 2013 via outlook anywhere to access public folder

Hi,

I would like to disable a client to access public folder via outlook anywhere (office 2013).

  1. On your client PC, Run>regedit
  2. Locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\Setup
  3. Create a new DWORD Value called HasPublicFolders
  4. Set its value to 0 (that is a zero)
  5. Restart your Outlook

doesn's solve the problem on any client (also tried to use the value set to 1 instead).

I realized that the reg key HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Exchange is not available.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Trying to configure the permission of public folder on user Default and Anonymous to none.

Set-PublicFolderClientPermission PF path User default AccessRights None

Or trying to use Oct/Group policy to configure Outlook Anywhere.
