pre-populate the managed folder policy (or have it inherited or something)
I saw this thread: http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2182288&SiteID=17 and i have pretty much the same question: Instead of always running the cmdlet, is there a way to default a managed folder policy to new users? Iknow in AD if you want to assign default groups to new users you create a template. I dont know how to do template mailbox with the new exchange management console and also dont know if you can pre-populate this attribute.

Dont know if there is a way to change the default when creating a mailbox, but a workaround would be to develop provisoning system. This could be a simple script that prompts for a couple of parameters and then create a user with mailbox and fill in the defaults you require.
