Hello there,

Are you having issues adding "active x control" to Powerpoint? If yes, in order to fix this, follow the easy steps below:

1. Click on the "Start" menu

2. Type "PowerPoint 2013" in the Run box and press "Enter" to search for PowerPoint

3. Click the "PowerPoint" result to launch the software

4. Expand the "File" menu in the upper left corner of PowerPoint

5. Click "Options" to open the PowerPoint Options window

6. Click "Quick Access Toolbar" and select "Developer Tab" in the Choose Commands From drop-down box

7. Double-click "Controls" to add it to the Quick Access Toolbar

8. Click "OK" to save the changes and close the PowerPoint Options window. The Controls icon is now in the Quick Access Toolbar at the top of the window

9. Click the "Controls" menu to expand it and select one of the ActiveX controls to add it to your slide. Examples of the ActiveX controls include labels, buttons and boxes.

10. Click anywhere on the slide to add the ActiveX control.

Hope this helps!

Which Office version do you use? Office 2013 or other? Did you get the error message "Cannot insert object" when inserted the active x? If yes, please see this blog and install the hotfix:
