permissions inheritenance block on server container object
I am trying to install Exchange 2007 sp1 on a new box running Windows 2008 x64. When I run the Exhange 2007 readiness check, I get the following error message? "permissions inheritenance block on server container object admin Group First Admintrative Group" I am currently running Exhange 2003 server on a different box with the same domain. I would appreciate any help or guidance to solving this problem. Thanks

Hi, We need to enable permission inheritance for First Administrative Group. 1. Enable Security tab for the organization object. How to enable the Security tab for the organization object in Exchange 2000 and in Exchange 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=264733 2. Open Exchange System Manager, find First Administrative Group. 3. Right click and select Properties. 4. Navigate to Security tab. 5. Click Advanced. 6. Please tick Allow inheritable permission from and then click OK. After that, please try to install Exchange 2007 sp1 again. If any further error, please feel free to post here. Hope it helps. Xiu
