password change from MS Exchange 2007
If a user forgets theirmailbox password, is there somewhere to reset it or change it from the exchange server?

Hi,Users don't have a specific mailbox password (unless you mean pst file password).username and password for the users are the same as the names they log on to the domain with (which is their active directory user name).You can reset the password from Active Directory Users and Computers).Leif

Hi Leif, Thanks but not using active directory. Users log into their email accounts remotely via their browser, using their address without domain as user ID and a preset password. However they can change the password from their web access but if they forget it I need to be able to reset it somehow which is what I am trying to figure out.Ben

Hi,Exchange server 200x can't be installed without active directory so there must be an AD somewhere.Leif

Hi,Even though the user log into Exchange server via the browser, the user name and password also is the AD user. You can check it in ADUC.Password Change is the feature of the OWA for the remote user.ThanksAllen
