Started helping with a 2003 exchange server sp2 owa issue. When connecting through OWA some emails open fine, some open with "bad request" error, some result in store.exe hanging. I do not see anything specific in the emails. this server was recently migrated from different hardware. ran eseutil on the priv and pub dbs no issues found - nothing in pub, priv db is less than 5gb. tried to re-run sp2 thinking there might be a file version issue, sp2 fails with activesync. exchweb, exchange, exchange-oma and exadmin appear to configured right - compared them to a working system. thanks for help

Can the issue be reproduced on the messages that appear “bad request” error before? Can the issue be reproduced on the problematic messages if you move them into another working mailbox and try to open? Can the problematic messages be opened successfully in the outlook? Is there any error event in the application log on the exchange server after reproduced the issue?
