outlook not able to contact sbs 2008
I am tryng to setup Outlook to connect to the sbs2008 exchange server. Using Rpc over http. Get the following message "the connection to the microsoft exchange server is unavailable outlook must be online online to complete this action" Tried the ntlm and basic authintication, no usePlease Help

Which OS version are you using? If it is Vista,please try to disable ipv6 and clear the dns cache on the system and dns server. Waiting your feedback........

Hi, Did you get that error message after you input credentials three times? Did you try it use Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007? Whether the issue occurs when every users attempt to setup the outlook? Please let me know how would you get that error message during the Setup Outlook. Hi, OS version is vista and i disabled ipv6 and cleared dns cache,but still same error.Regards Asha
