Mahmoud,

Go through following checklists

1. Run some network monitoring tool and see any packet drops are happening between client machine and server during the issue

2. Check Domain controller and see for any errors, warnings etc.

3. Check the firewall locally on the server or the network to see any block etc.

Check mail server and your computer event viewer for any problems

Hi,

Please confirm whether the issue happens to all users or specific users to narrow the issue to client side or server side.

Are you seeing any errors in the event viewer of the CAS server?

Please make sure all the exchange services are running on your server.

When the issue occurs, we can do an Outlook connectivity test with https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/   and see what went wrong.

Best Regards,

David

Check the mail server date/time and check the NTP configuration. I had same problem with mail server. Mails has delivered to destinations but with earlier date/time and mail receivers couldn't find mails because it was received for old dates.

Hi,

The outlook disconnected and you can use the OWA normally ,there maybe something wrong with your autodiscover service.

Please run the following command to check your autodiscover service:

Get-ClientAccessServer | FL Identity,AutodiscoverServiceInternalUri

On problematic client side, please run Test E-mail AutoConfiguration Tool, and collect the Logs tab and Results tab information:
Open Outlook - press CTRL key - right click on the Outlook icon from right bottom corner taskbar - Test Email AutoConfiguration. Put your email address - uncheck use guessmart and secure guessmart .

David

thanks for your reply

I check autodiscover service and I get  for both CAS servers

https://webmail.mydomain/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml

Also I run the Test E-mail AutoConfiguration Tool and  I got

I found on the log tab

getlasterror 0 httpstatus 200 what this mean ?

for results tab and log tab  there is any value needs to be checked ?

kindly note I run this test when not facing problem as I don't know the time the problem will happen  , in this case this test will be fine or not

Hi,

Please add the test results in details .

When you run the test tool, you can find detailed connection process in results zone , we need to get autodiscover failure message for further analysis.
