I use outlook 2010 IMAP to access my AOL e-mail address.  Just recently set this profile up a few weeks ago and it repeatedly prompts for username and password to the Server imap.aol.com, even though I have selected to remember my password.  I tried re-creating my outlook profile, but no improvement.  Windows 7

It's maybe due to profile or password cache corrupted. You may want to try deleting the protected storagekey in the registry. This will clear all remembered passwords, export the key at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider, then delete it.
