outlook 2010

until yesterday it has been ok.  I have 2010

yesterday went i went to download my emails nothing came through.  i then checked on mail2web and there was 1 sitting there as between checking and trying again i had done something on a web site that sent you an email receipt, and nothing in the bigpond email.  when i clicked on S&R the one came through.  hours later the missing ones appeared, dont know if that was all of them or not.

last night before i went to sleep i checked both email accounts via the web email servers and there were at least 20 emails to come through and 1 was important.

this morning noting has appeared.  i did mean to check via the web accounts to see how many were sitting there.

when i clicked S&R it showed me it was downloading and that it was downloading 36, but they are all missing.

this is painful.

Per your post, I don't get the information of email account type? mail2web web mail supports POP3 and IMAP, please verify it.

If you store message items in PST, please use the scanpst.exe to scan/fix it until no error reports. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/272227

If you are using IMAP account, please totally create a new profile and re-setup the account to check the result. Thanks.

I am using 2010.

I can check the emails via the Telstra/Bigpond website which is my service provider for the slow ADSL2 connection.  I have 2 email accounts that download into the 1 file in outlook, which have been working fine until this week.  I can also check on the mail2web, website what is sitting there to download.  I can check either email account through mail2web. all you need is your email address and password.

I am using the standard POP3 email which is what outlook uses.

The missing emails from this morning came through after lunch about 4-5 hours after they first showed up that they were being downloaded.

I will run this scan fix it thing in the morning.

2nd question if you can help.  I installed windows8 last year and outlook 2013 a couple of months ago, windows 8 is not working properly and I want to format the hard drive and reinstall them both, along with all my other software.  My question is am I going to have problems trying to use the same license no/password/code that is for the discs again that I used on the first instal?  I decided to take this hard drive out of this computer and try it in a new one and it told me it had to be registered again, so I put it back into this one.  So many dramas caused by one company and their software.

Thanks for replying.

Suzanne.
