outlook 2007 showing blank body with scrolling bar above header
We have exchange 2007 sp2 rollup 4 with outlook 2007 client running on VMware virtualized windows 2008 x64 citrix servers. This solution has been in place since Jan 2010. On Monday 8/16, random users started getting random emails what would have a blank body with a scrolling status bar above the message header like it was waiting to download from the exhange server. (We are not caching) The user can get an email in that state from a sender that can send another email and it comes through fine. I am stumped on this one! Any help greatly appreciated!!!

Hi, If you have an anti-virus scanner integrated into Outlook, disable that plugin, especially if you have AVG. I hope this will help you. Regards. We are using Symantec Enterprise Protection Manager. We are not using the client side plug-in. Thanks, Wayne

Hi If you have Antivirus software installed on your exchange server, please uninstall it and check if it solves your problem. Also check on the client side, just remove it in troubleshooting point of viewJonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog

Hi, As Mr. Jonas said, I have drilled out in this problems alot and the final thing was Anti Virus or Fire Wall so I will also suggest you that work in this way and I hope you will get done. Regards. Removing anti-virus has no affect. Firewall is disabled. another interesting point is that domain admin accounts do not see the problem.

Hi, Do you see the body if you hit forward and/or forward it to yourself? Regards. Shafaquat Ali.M.C.I.T.P Exchange 2007/2010, M.C.I.T.P Windows Server 2008, M.C.T.S OCS Server 2007 R2, URL: http://blog.WhatDoUC.net Phone: +923008210320

What happens if you reply or forward is the screen appears with only the following *********************************start of message*********************** --------------------------------------------------- From: To: Sujbect *********************************end of message*********************** If you send it the receiving party gets the email and the text in the body shows up as weird characters. If you add any text to the email it also shows up as weird characters.
