outlook 2003 send a notification email to private email adress
Hi,
I'dd like to know if it's possible/how to send a notication email to a private email adres from within exchange 2003 (outlook 2003).
Example of how idd like it to work:
An Enployee with an Exchange mail account (using outlook 2003 and/or OWA) gets an email in his Company mailbox. Exchange than sends a notification email to his private email adres, saying that a message has arrived in his Company mailbox.
Summarized:
1) an employee gets some sort of notification, in there PRIVATE mail account, of a new mail in their mailbox on our server.2) the employee can then login to our OWA portal and retrieve their mail directly from our server.

Exchange won't do that without you writing custom code.
Unfortunately, server-side rules won't do exactly this either without custom
code, and Outlook rules won't either as far as I've been able to
determine.-- Ed Crowley MVP"There are seldom good
