Here is quick review of the problem; I try to send a msg to an e-mail address that I do not have a outlook contact for. The msg will not get out of the outbox. I create an outlook contact for these folks and the msg will now be sent. What could cause this.?Client Outlook 2007running XP Pro SP3

Hi, It should not have any relationship with whether you add the recipients as a contact. Can you reproduce the issue? Do you Outlook connect to Exchange server or an ISP? If the issue persists, I suggest you use the following steps to narrow down the issue: 1. Please disable all firewall and anti-virus software temporarily to check the issue 2. Start outlook in safe mode <Start->Run->outlook /safe> to check the issue 3. Disable all Non-Microsoft Services and reboot PC, see if we can reproduce issue a. Start->run->msconfig b.
