outbound SMTP schedule
Hi, Is it possible in Exchange 2007 sp1 to schedule when outbound SMTP mail delivery (to the internet) runs? Im not seeing this under any of the edge transport options. Obviously on 2003 there was the delivery options tab, where you could define a custom schedule on your outbound SMTP connector (i.e run at midnight, always run .etc) but this tab does not exist on 2007. From what im seeing, Exch2007 seems to consider connectors as routers - i.e always route mail here, with no schedule options? Is this true? if not how can i schedule when to deliver outbound email please. Cheers

This feature has been removed from Exchange 2007. What you can do is to tweak your FW rules. Many FW can leverage a schedule on a rule, so if you schedule the outbound SMTP rule to only be active certain time you would get the same behavior. Why do you want delay delivery of mail?
