Hi,

Opening a new word document, brings up minimized documents.

This is a long time issue! Which i would rather not have it happen. It's annoying!

Has anybody found a solution for it?

Hi,

I'm not sure about the symptom yet, do you mean when you create a new document, the Word window becomes minimized? If I'm wrong, please provide detailed reproduce steps so that I can do more investigation.

I also need to confirm whether the issue persists when we open Word in Safe Mode:

Press Win + R, type "winword.exe /safe" in the blank box, press Enter, then Word will start in Safe Mode with no add-in loaded. Check if the issue persists.
