Outlook 2013 will not access archives files. It gives me a dialog box - " Path does not exist, verify the path is correct". I have with no success.

Did you try to open an archive file or view items in the archive folder when you got this error?

Where are the archive files stored? Can you navigate to the parent directory of the archive files via opening it directly in Windows Explorer?

In addition, we may also try to create a new mail profile in Control Panel and then reconfigure your email account in the new profile to see the result. I've seen a similar issue that is caused by profile corruption.
