office 2003 pro running on vista keeps asking for EULA acceptance
I have just go a new PC with vista home premium, I have a licensed copy of office pro 2003 that was on my old and now broken XP PC. Office installed OK and it works, I went thru the authorisation screen Ok, but for Word and Excel it keeps asking me to accept the licence agreement every time I load them. The other packages powerpoint outlook access don't have this problem
Can anyone tell me how to cure this please. 2003 has been updated to SP3 and that did not make any difference

I too had this problem and have been scouring for an answer. Everyone says sign on with and administrator account, but I already am. Finally I went to Control Panel-User Accounts and turned User Account Control Off. Rebooted machine, started office programs, accepted EULA's, restarted office programs to make sure EULA doesn't pop up,went back to User Accounts and turned User Account Control back on, and rebooted again. Now EULA doesn't pop up anymore.
Good Luck

Hey, Brian,
You're a genius. I owe you $49.95, which is what Microsoft wanted to charge me. How about a beer instead.
Worked perfectly.
Peace, Bro'

Just got new computers with Vista - couldn't avoid Vista any longer - and ran into same problem probably like many others. You saved me lots of time reading the Vista manual with your answer. Worded perfectly for me too, but I decided to leave user account off since I'm the only one using this computer and don't want to be second guessed continually. Thanks Brian and this forum for quick and correct answers.
