not able to install when iis6.0 in 32bit mode on 64 bit system
Hi, I am not sure if this bug/issue has been fixed or encountered so I will ask here. in hope there is a fix/workaround to come. Running win2003 std server X64. Running IIS in 32 bit mode due to other dll's only run in 32 bit more for iis6.0. Installed 64 bit exchange server 2007 and won't install unless I set every thing to 64 bit mode in IIS 6.0. So I changed it to X64 mode and the install work but now my other programs do not work so I set the wow back to 32 bit and now exchange does not work. I then uninstall Exchange 2007 B2 and tried to install Exchange server B2 32 bit and is say that it can not install on a X64 bit system. Here is the command I used during this whole issue... cscript.exe adsutil.vbs set W3SVC/AppPools/Enable32BitAppOnWin64 true Has anyone ecounter this and found a work around. Is microsoft going to fix this issue? If there is a work around that would be great to know. Thanks, P
