newly created distribution list is not receiving emails from outside
HiWe have Exchange 2007 Server ( All roles in different server and we are using McAfee Email gatway instead of Edge transport server). Recently notice that memebers of newly created distribtion list members are not receiving emails from outside. but internelly members are able to receive. Please note i tried group type Disribution as well as SecurrityI could see mail came in Hubtransport server ( by using Message Tracking )but not yet reached in inboxSome thing wrong in mail flow between Hub Transport server and Mail box server ???Any help would be appreciate

Hi,Please try the below :Under each distribution list address, under "Mail Flow Settings" "message Delivery Restrictions" there is a check box that is defaulted to "Checked" set to require Authentication. Uncheck this box and check.Use the below command Get-DistributionGroup | Set-DistributionGroup -RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled:$false Mahendra

Hi Thanks for the reply.Do you mean uncheck --> ok then check ---> Ok ?If i give the above command check box will remove from DL's?

Hi,Ideally RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled should be false if you require to receive mails in a DL from outside.This box needs to be unchecked.Running the command will uncheck the box.Mahendra
