network trobleshoot....
hello...i would like to ask a question...ok let say, you are a network admin for college with 4000 students scattered over 5 locations. A group of user has called your help desk and complaining they cannt send or receive message from internet, although they can receive messages on the college's internal mail system. What are the steps that you will take to troubleshoot this problem and describe why each step is necessary.anyone please help me on how to troubleshoot this problem..

Make sure that you have n/w connectivity to HUB site which is responsilble forwarding email to problematic location. Try pinging that server open command promt and then try to telnet that server on port 25 check your all exchange services Check your exchange server port 25 by telnet localhost 25 Check applogs Check for Anti spam/Virus scan servers if they are causing the issue.
