network connection problems
I have a widnows server 2008 machine that seems to lose it's ability to access network shares and update it's group policy; however users are still able to access the folder shares and i am still able to remote desktop to it. I am also unable to access any pages on the internet. There is sophos endpoint security installed on it. The antivirus did catch an instance of the confik-D virus and it cleaned it up. After a reboot of the server, it was functioning normally, when checking it the next day, it was unable to access the network shares and get to any websites again. Is there any known issue that causes this or can someone steer me in the right direction? Is there a service that gets stopped?dmg
