my distribution list not receiving emails
We have a website that has an email link. that link sends customer emails to one of our company distribution lists. We have received a call from several customers who say that they sent emails via the link but the members of the distribution list never received it. How can I resolve this?

Did the sender receive a non-delivery report? Check the properties of the DL. Have you restricted who can send to the DL? I'm guessing it's still limited to accepting e-mail only from authenticated users. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

you were right. It was set to accept from authenticated users. I unchecked it. btw....I got no NDR....don't suppose I would since I'm sending the email from the company website.

I sent another email from the website. It didn't get to the distribution group. I'm thinking the problem is with IIS website link. could that be it? Don't know anything about IIS, unfortunately.

Whoever wrote the code that sends the message simply assumed that nothing bad would ever happen and, so, included no error handling in the application.
