multiple certificate for multiple domains

Hi All,

I recently installed Ex 2013 in our environment.  We have two domains setup to receive mail from domain1.com and domain2.com - I created certificate request for both domain names in Exchange but for some reason when I ask third party company to provide certificate for all the domains (including autodiscover.domain1.com and autodiscover.domain2.com) - they only gave autodiscover.domain2.com.  I am ok with that as half of the users have domain2.com email accounts and domain1.com users do not care if they have to go to autodiscover.domain2.com/owa for webmail. The problem is when users with domain1.com email account opens up Outlook they are getting certificate error about autodiscover.domain1.com.

How do I solve this problem?  Should I create a new certificate with autodiscover.domain1.com or should I ask  certificate provider to give me new certificate and renew the certificate in Ex 2013?

For Outlook, you can use DNS SRV record to eliminate the certificate warning. Something like

domain1.com SRV autodiscover.domain2.com 443 0 0

It depends.
If you have only one external name for both the domains you need only 2 names which is autodiscover.domain1.com and mail.commonname.com and redirect the autodiscover.domain2.com using the article below http://www.wsit.ca/how-tos/exchange-server-2/configure-split-dns-and-exchange-2013-virtual-directories/

If you want separate names for both domains you can add the below names and configure split DNS or pinpoint DNS to resolve external names to private IP.
mail.domain1.com
mail.domain2.com
autodiscover.domain1.com
autodiscover.domain2.com

Don't forget to configure the URLs of OAB, ECP, autodiscover etc in server based on ur config.
