mround formula give different results

Hi,

I used  =MROUND(H14*I14%,1) formula. It gave different results for 275.50 and 449.50. I could not understand. The former rounded to add while later rounded to deduction.

please help.

What happens if you display more decimal places? I suspect that 449.50 is actually something like 449.4999999999, so that it is rounded down.

I see - that's weird... If you use =ROUND(H14*I14%,0) you do get the correct result.

Hi,

Thank you Hans Vogelaar,

I learnt some where on net that "=MROUND(H14*I14%,1)"  to be correct formula !!

Hope  =ROUND(H14*I14%,0) will always work well.

regards
