moved MB to new server - not getting any mail
I installed a new exchange 2003 server (second in domain), and moved my admin mailbox onto it. I can send (internal & external) but not receive any mail (internal or external).I tried sending a test message to myself from outlook - never came in. Nobody gets a DSN or failure notice, just goes to some blackhole somewhere.Internet email is received as follows:antiSpam_Appliance -> Original_Exchange_2k3_Server -> New_ExChange_ServerI verified that the original exchange server is accepting the message, but it's never getting to the new exchange server.Any Ideas? How can I troubleshoot this?

Is new server in same routing group? If not then check the Routing Group Connector settings, especially remote bridgehead should be set with new server. HOW TO: Use Routing Group Connectors to Connect Routing Groups in Exchange Server 2003 Track the message in message tracking and check where the message stucked or still in queue.

Hi, You'd better use message tracking to see where it stops. Does this issue only happen on you or all users? Have you tried OWA? I await your reply. Thanks, Elvis

If you look in the queues on Mail 1 is the message there? I'd track the message.. turn up the MTA logging and see what errors you get. Most of the time I've found this boils down to a DNS or WINS resolution problem. Be sure the old exchange server can resolve the new server name by both short name and FQDN

Thanks for the suggestions. It was only happening to me (only mailbox on the new server). A server reboot later and now it's working fine. Strange thing is that this server has been rebooted after installing exchange. I had already checked all DNS/name resolution to make sure it was working (I've been burned before by that). Also, all mail queues were showing as empty (0 messages).
