move from pop to ecxhange removed quicklist from outlook
I am migrating users within Outlook 2010 and after I:
added exchange 2010 mailbox
moved all useful email/contacts/ etcetera from old pop3 folder to new exchange folders
removed pop3 and old data files
Now the users quicklist is gone. (The list that appear to autocomplete addresses on the to line)
Any ideas why is got removed and can I get it back?
Does having exchange connected support this feature?
Thanks

Did you create a new profile?
The nicknames file is profile specific. Being connected to Exchange shouldn't have caused the problem. However I believe Outlook 2010 stores them in a folder called "Suggested Contacts". Therefore it will populate pretty easily.
If you can't find the nicknames file then it has gone. Users should be encouraged to store email addresses in their Contacts list.

Agree with Simon.
GB, if you can still find the old .nk2 file, you can import the quicklist to Outlook Suggested Contacts.
Details, please see this KB:
