missing email. suggestions?
HiThe router to our ISP crashed last night and due to this (doesn't sound likely? Ok, so I was messing with the server myself last night - I thought I didn't need it so I turned off POP under 'exchange features' under user properties.)no emails were recieved between 10pm and 8am this morning. I have checked in the badmail folders in sbs server > networking AND exchsrv > badmail etc.I have looked in the archive foldersAnd I can't see the missing emails anywhere. Any suggestions?Ededit: just to clarify. the exchange server's internet connection was down. therfore the emails should come in when it is reconnected right?

Hi, If you are hosting your own SMTP - the senders should keep the mails for you up to 48 hours. Sothe "missing" mails should be delivered when your internet connection is available again. leif
