migrated fully to exchange 2010, add new Room, doesnt show up in Outlook clients AB, unless recreate profile
We recently installed Exchange 2010 on two new servers, vsexchcashub and vsexchmbx01.. i migrated all boxes, moved over the OAB, along with its scheduling of updating in tact, which i changed a long while ago from the default to something like every 4 hours (small network, 40 users tops etc).. I uninstalled Exchange 2007, we now run solely on 2010. The other day i tried creating a new room. I right clicked OAB in the EMS, just to be sure and did update.. I noticed that the room did NOT show up in the global address listing. I tried doing a full download of the OAB, but i received this error when i did it: 0x8004010f operation failed object not found etc.. I found on my machine, if i went to where the OST files are stored and deleted the address book folder(s), then reopened outlook, i would see the new room in the main listing. I also found that if i created a brand new profile, i could see the room. In addition, for those that cant see the room in the address book main listing, if they create a new appointment, and click add rooms, they DO see the rooms listed there. Any thoughts as to whats going on here? I'd like to avoid having to make changes to each users machine.. however the object not found has me thinking something else is going on, maybe related to public folders somehow? Thanks in advance

It turned out this issue seems to be Outlook 2010 specific.. especially the part of doing a download of the address book that lead to object not found. If i went in and turned off cached exchange mode.. downloaded it, then turned it back on, all was well. Still not the most elegant solution, so i'm guessing it wasnt a server issue.
