Hi,
Do you mind telling us which possible solutions you have tried? As far as I know, this error "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file" might be due to many factors. If you have read this KB, please try to follow it and troubleshoot:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2669244
PS: Please modify the WinWord.exe in the installation path, not with the shortcut on desktop.
Then, if this issue still exists, please try the following steps to narrow down the issue:
1. Click Start, click Run, type msconfig and click Ok.
2. Click the Startup tab and click Enable all. If the computer was in Selective startup enable the items that correspond to the items noted earlier.
3. Click the Services tab, check the option Hide all Microsoft Services.
4. Click Enable all. If the computer was in Selective startup enable the items that correspond to the services noted earlier.
5. Uncheck one of the services from the list.
6. Click Apply, click Close and restart the computer when prompted.
They open correct on normal mode with non Microsoft services disable, we check one by one which service make this issue.
Hope it's helpful.
Regards,
George Zhao
