This Error event indicates that at least one journal message could not be delivered to a journal report mailbox. Please go to www.testexchangeconnectivity.com and perform the Inbound SMTP E-Mail test. Furthermore you might want to use the Exchange Mail Flow Troubleshooter under Toolbox in the EMC. You also might want to take a look at the Queue Viewer. MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008

mails sent from outside domain are received in server (i checked in toolbox tracking log explorer) but its not being delivered to users. Some time it takes 2 or 3 hours and getting delivered and again get struck. I re-started the server and then also no use. Below is the event viewer messages i got. EVENT 1035 WARNING Inbound authentication failed with error LogonDenied for Receive connector Default PSLES001. The authentication mechanism is Login. The source IP address of the client who tried to authenticate to Microsoft Exchange is (some time local firewall ip is shown and some times other domain IP is shown) EVENT 8010 ERROR A message with the Internal Message ID 1633552 was rejected by the remote server. This message will be deferred and retried because it was marked for retry if rejected. Other messages may also have encountered this error. please assistTks & rgds. Narayanan
