maximum number of email addresses per user, Exchange 2010 SP1
I can't seem to find the maximum number of SMTP email addresses per mailbox. I am setting up a test account and would like it to have a couple hundred. Does anyone know if there is a maximum? Thanks in advance.

1. I'm not sure, never seen a couple of hundred before but have seen around 40-60. I dont think it would be an issue but I cant say for sure. You can probably create a test account and test. No harm in doing it. Sukh

Hi I am also interested in your question. I believe that it will be less than 100. So I just add smtp address manually. It is my biggest fault today. The limit is more than 512. I believe that it is enough to you… Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. HI, Not sure if this is helpful, in a 2010 deployment i'm working on, one email address policy had over 100 entries and soon corrrupted, causing and "invocation" error, the only way to get round this was to remove the policy. This also meant when trying to do a mailbox move the legacyexchangedn value was not created, causing the move to fail. I'm 100 % sure this was the issue, however it seems like to be the case. thanks

Hi, I could see one account with 1203 SMTP addresses. I cannot add more addresses, I get an error message when I try to add more. Maybe it is the limit. Im still researching to be sure if it is a limit or not. The exchange is 2007. Daniel
