marco not loaded or found

Every time I start/open WORD 2010 I get this "macro cannot be found or has been disabled due to your security settings."

I have everything in the 'help' section in regards to options, add-ons, security settings, etc. Allowed everything suggested, clicked everything suggested and it still happens. This started with the fist time I used it.

How can I disable the warning or fix the problem?

Hi Tom,

Hold the Ctrl Key down when you start Word and keep holding it down until the blank new document screen comes up.

If you don't get the message when you start Word like this, which is Safe Mode, that indicates there is a macro in your Normal template that was trying to execute. How that macro got there might be an issue. :-(

The location of your Normal template can be found from Word > Options > Advanced > File Locations. If you go to that location you can rename the Normal.dotm template to oldNormal.dotm and Word will generate a new version when you start Word normally again. I recommend renaming the template versus deleting it because there might be Styles, AutoText, and some other things that you might want to transfer from the old template to the new one.
