mapi and cas latency spikes toubleshooting and where is exmon for e2k7?
I am experiencing very high spikes every few minutes in both the mapi latency on our ccr cluster and owa/active sync on our cas server. What is the best way to troubleshoot this? Is there anywhere I can get a copy of exmon for exchange 2007? As reported by spotlight on exchange the ccr cluster mapi latency normally sits at 1ms but spikes to 400-2000ms. OWA and active sync will spike to 3,000ms-40,000ms. We have 235 mailboxs, ~370 mapi connections, ~5 owa connections (outlookanywhere), ~10 eas connections at a time. Average mailbox size is >1GB with several users >4GB and > 100k items. The power users are not using cached mode. We have two ccr'ed physical mailbox servers with 32GB of ram, one vm hub transport, and one vm CAS. All of the servers resources look fine but when expirencing the high latency the active mailbox node will slow down to a crawl. Any idea's where to look/what to check? BPA looks fine, exmon would be very helpful if someone could send that to me. Thanks,

I ended up getting exmon for 2007 from someone at microsoft support. Our problem ended up being a component of our anti-virus nod32 (amon)
