hello - not sure if this should even be in teh exchange forums, but i figured its close enough. ive got query-based distros applied to various OU's. i need to add 1 user to a specific QB distro, but can;t remove him from his current OU. is there a way to add just one user to the QB distro, or create a static distro and nest the QB distro within it and add users as appropriate???thanks in advance

You have to base the query based DL off of a custom LDAP query. Here's an example of one of my LDAP queries that includes everyone in the Human Resources department and the user with the mailnickname of fsmith. (&(!cn=SystemMailbox{*})(&(&(!cn=SystemMailbox{*})(|(mailnickname=fsmith)(&(&(&(& (mailnickname=*) (| (&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(|(homeMDB=*)(msExchHomeServerName=*))) )))(objectCategory=user)(department=Human Resources)))))))
