When moving mailboxes from exchange 2003 to exchange 2007, permissions that were assigned to mailboxes in exchange 2003 so users could access "shared" mailboxes, calendars, etc… are over written with the default inherited permissions of server 2007 when they are moved. Is there a way to retain the old permissions when moving mailboxes to exchange 2007 so users still have access to the shared mailboxes and calendars without having to manually go and readd their rights to the mailboxes? If so is there a way to retain the old permissions and inherit the default 2007 permissions?
