Check your DNS settings. I recently ran into this, my two mailbox servers were pointed to different DNS servers, while they could ping each other they couldn't communicate when trying to move the mailboxes. To correct it I pointed both servers to the proper DNS server, flushed the DNS and registered DNS and walla.BP

I check the DNS settings are correct same on the workstation and mailbox server. I even tried to up the count of corrupted message still I cannot move certain mailboxes. I am trying to avoid exporting to PST and then re-importing.

Hi, The issue can be caused by the corrupted items in the mailbox. Please check the skip the corrupted messages and set Maximum number of messages to skip to 1000. Then test the issue again. You also can use switch baditemlimit of cmdlet move-mailbox. Hope it helps. Thanks, Elvis

I was able to use a third server (non-clustered) exchange 2007 to move these trouble mailbox. We are at the latest SP 1 and RU # 6. After the move in Exchange 07 console showed no databases but when I ran the command to see disconnected mailboxes, it did show some. Also on some moved mailboxes, I am getting NDRs but the message to the mailboxes are getting delivered but a NDR is sent for some reason. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could cause this, the mailboxes are at their new storage location.

Hi, Have you ignore the corrupted messages when moving the mailbox? Or it can be moved directly? Is there any error? We'd recommend that you start up a new thread for the new issue. We generally focus on one topic in one thread, in this way it will be better for other community members to participate in the discussion, and to search/find specific answers more efficiently in the future. Thank you for your understanding. Elvis

I solved the NDR problem - I restartedthe "Transport" services on all Hub servers but I am seeing on some mailboxes, when a user goes into OWA, they are unable to view their inbox. But if they go into OWA light or outlook, they are able to view the inbox of the mailbox. Here is the error message when they go into OWA (inbox only) Client Information ------------------ User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; WOW64; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; InfoPath.2; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; OfficeLiveConnector.1.3; OfficeLivePatch.0.0; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618) CPU Class: x86 Platform: Win32 System Language: en-us User Language: en-us CookieEnabled: true Mime Types: Exception Details ----------------- Date: Thu Mar 5 14:26:09 EST 2009 Message: 'divLstV' is undefined - THIS IS the ERROR, HOW does one correct this? This problem was resolved by a reboot of all Exchange 2007 system. It must have been some sort of cached problem.
