When you will delete the mailbox it will free space in edb file (after online maintance completes), which can be used by new items. But It will not resize edb file. To shrind edb file you need to unmount database and use eseutil. So first in Management Console delete the mailbox than use below command in Exchange management shell Remove-Mailbox -Database "Mailbox Database" -StoreMailboxIdentity -confirm:$false If you do not want to kkep AD account ommit -StoreMailboxIdentity With kind regards Krystian Zieja http://www.projectnenvision.com Follow me on twitter My Blog
